Bild, a German newspaper, published part of the transcript from the black box recordings that documented the communication between the pilots from
the Germanwings flight that crashed in the Alps last week.
According to the publication, the captain said to his co-pilot before takeoff that he did not have a chance to go to the bathroom during the stop in Barcelona.  After takeoff, the captain went to the bathroom, and when he tried to return to the cockpit, he is heard trying to break through the locked door and yelling “Open the damn door!”.  According to reports, the pilot tried to break the door by using an ax.
The co-pilot, Andreas Lubitz, was silent in the lat minutes of his life, and from the recording his breath can be heard, which becomes heavier a the plane is crashing.  Screams are heard as the passengers see the ground approaching and realize that the plane is going to crash.

The black box that was found recorded the first hour and a half of the flight, from takeoff until the crash.  The French Aviation Authority declared that the crash occurred due to the pilot’s desire to take his own life.
The second black box of the plane, which records the flight data, has yet to be found.  French search and rescue forces are still looking for it, along with continued identification of bodies and wreckage.
