Dagan attacks: Netanyahu is leading Israel to a disaster
(Jerusalem Online)Former Director of the Mossad harshly criticizes the Prime Minister: “His path leads to a bi-national state, and that could be the end of the Zionist dream. You cannot be certain that the state will exist in the future.” The full interview tomorrow at 20:00 in “Ulpan Shishi
Following the speech in the US Congress – former Director of the Mossad , Meir Dagan, launches an attack on Netanyahu and paints an apocalyptic picture regarding the future of the state of Israel. In an interview to “Ulpan Shishi”, which will be broadcast tomorrow (Friday-Today) at 20:00, Dagan says that Netanyahu’s policy “leads to a bi-national state or to an apartheid state. I think this is a disaster.”
Dagan expresses his concern that this way could lead to the end of the Zionist dream: “I served this country for 45 years - all in order to maintain its security as a Jewish Zionist state. I do not wish for this dream to disappear.”
According to Dagan, “The reality that the PM and Mr. Bennett lead to, is a bi-national state. You cannot be certain that this state will exist in the future. If this trend continues - I have very serious question marks.”
Netanyahu’s response: “Meir Dagan is wrong, and is misleading. Prime Minister Netanyahu is acting for the security of Israel’s citizens, out of a comprehensive view of what is best for the people and for the state, and does not submit to international pressure. The reason for that is clear: any territory handed over today to Palestinians will be taken over by extreme Islam and by terror organizations supported by Iran.
“The Prime Minister’s speech in Congress was globally reverberated, and presented to the world the danger Israel faces as a result of a bad agreement. There is no doubt that the PM’s speech challenged world powers to address and solve these dangers.”
