Schoolboy Suffers Horrific Injuries After Being Left For Dead By Audi Driver
Ashley Barrs was the subject of a hit and run/SWNS
Police are hunting a hit-and-run Audi driver who ploughed into a schoolboy at high speed leaving him with shocking facial injuries.

Ashley Barrs, 10, was playing football with his 12-year-old brother Jaden and two friends at 6pm on Wednesday when he was hit by a white Audi A3, sending him hurtling 10ft into the air.
The youngster was hit with such force that the wing mirror was torn off the car on Neachells Lane in Wednesfield, West Midlands.
The driver sped off, leaving Ashley lying unconscious and bleeding in the road.
After being rushed to hospital, Ashley underwent a CT scan and an X-ray for injuries to his ankle, shoulder and stomach.
Doctors at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton told him it was a “miracle” he had no breaks or serious injuries.
Ashley’s dad Stefan Barrs, 30, who works as a scaffolder, said: “They were playing football and the ball went over the other side of the road.
"My son waited until the road was completely clear and crossed to go and get it.
"But a car came out of nowhere doing about 70mph and came over the middle line so it was half on the wrong side of the road and hit him.
“The car didn’t break at all, it just carried on speeding off.
“If the driver had looked in his mirror he would have seen my son lying on the kerb unconscious.”

Pictures of Ashley’s injuries have been charged on Facebook as part of an appeal/SWNS
Ashley’s mum Jane Keates, 35, yesterday posted pictures of Ashley’s injured face - which is covered in cuts and bruises -  on her Facebook page as part of an appeal for information about the Audi driver.
The appeal has already been shared a whopping 135,931 times.
The full-time mum-of-five, who is separated from Stefan, said: "I was at home when his friend knocked the door and said Ashley had been hit.
"It took my legs away when I saw him with all the ambulance people there, my sister had to catch me. I saw his face and I just broke down.
"There have been lots of eyewitness who told us the car must have been doing about 60-70mph and wasn’t driving straight on the road.
"People said they have seen the same description car driving like that around the area so we think it might be stolen.
"We just want to catch the scumbag driver who did this to my son.”
Stefan added: “The police know the make and model of the car and have told us they are looking for CCTV to try and find the registration.”
